As Manager, Clinic Operations, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Scripps Coastal Medical Center Contact Center.  The Contact Center has 3 main hubs in San Diego County centrally handling all incoming phone calls for Scripps Coastal Medical Center.  Key functions of the manager are ensuring that the department provides a high quality consistent experience for our patients, making sure that phones are answered within expected timeframe and quality of the call are within service levels. Focus on training and competencies, implementation of telecom workforce management software as well as logistics of time management for phone agents. Provide leadership and direction to staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, quality outcomes, and internal and external customer service. Be responsible for entire scope of department/location, including facilities management.  
 
This is a Full Time Manager position located in La Jolla.

 
 
 

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • High school diploma plus five years current applicable experience in a healthcare environment and two years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage healthcare business and operational practices. Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other applicable systems.


Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
 
  • Bachelor's degree and/or completion of formal leadership training.
  • Epic experience highly preferred.
  • Contact Center / Call Center experience.
  • Experience with Avaya phone system or like telecom management system.
  • Prior work history with medical practice environment.
