The Mammography Technologist Lead is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements participates in QC and PI activities maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements. Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure certification and QA requirements for the entire radiology department. Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times. Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in Mammography department.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Completion of a formal training program in an AMA approved school of Radiology Technology. Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Required Certification/Registration: CRT, RTM, AND BLS

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: 1 to 2 years of experience. Knowledge of patient focused care delivery. ARRT
