Job Description

Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.

SYSTEM WIDE FLOAT TEAM - Permanent Scripps employees who support the day-to-day and short-term assignments.
 
Seeking casual/per diem staff with day shifts.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology. Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Required Certification/Registration: Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), Registered Technologist - Mammography (RTM) and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.


Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: 2 years Mammography experience in an acute care hospital environment. Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
 
Preferred Licensure/Certification: ARRT (M) preferred. Tomography experience is a plus.
 
Travel Requirements:  Work between all Scripps Health outpatient clinics and five (5) hospital campuses: Encinitas, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, San Diego, and Chula Vista.
