The Lead establishes testing framework for systems and audits to ensure system deployments are of high quality. Ensures compliance with SOX and corrects audit exceptions. Recommends models for future configurations. Acts as a resource to other IS staff. Provides operations management support to department leadership, including timekeeping and quality control/reporting. Contributes to performance evaluations and hiring decisions.
 
Lead Enterprise Testing Projects and Quality Metrics improvement for Enterprise Testing and Quality Standards and accountability.  Drives the activities around the Testing Maturity Model Integrated.  Drives Testing Policy, Standards, Processes and Procedures and the continuous improvement.  Determine, procure, control, maintain and optimize the test environment.  Evaluate and identify the required test automation and test management tools. Track the assigned tasks with respect to the software test plan and the project schedule. Obtain resolution of the issues/defects related to the testing efforts. Plan, organize and lead team meetings and ensure action is taken based on the team discussions. Identify test metrics to be gathered. Work with the outside and internal audit organizations. Building relationships with the Operational Business Partners, Technical Teams, Informatics Teams, Application Teams and Vendors. Coaching and mentoring, hiring, terminations and other activities with performance criteria.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Two years related experience, including test strategy, planning and creation and execution of scenarios.
  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking and customer service skills. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of relevant testing tools. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree. PMP, ISTQB or other IS testing certification. Health care experience. Epic experience. Previous Leadership experience within an IS environment.
