Join our team as a Lead Radiology Technologist in the Diagnostic Radiology Department at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. Together with your Co-Lead, you will provide guidance and oversight to roughly 25 employees that make up our dynamic general diagnostic team. The ideal candidate is full of positivity, confident in their professional skillset, and eager to lead by example in order to provide excellent care.
 
The Lead Rad Tech is responsible for providing age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. They will adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements, participate in Quality Control and Performance Improvement activities, and maintain their clinical competency and mandatory requirements. The Lead Rad Tech also functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire radiology department. They will maintain all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times, and are also responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in Radiology department.
 
This position is full-time (80 hours per pay period), requires at least one weekend shift per week, and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
  • CRT
  • Fluoroscopy
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
 
Preferred Experience:
  • 2 years of general diagnostic imaging experience in an acute care hospital environment
