Join our team as a Lead Mammography Technologist at the O’Toole Breast Care Center at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego located in Hillcrest. This team stands out for providing compassionate and quality care from a spa-like environment that puts our patients at ease from the moment they step through the door. As a Lead Mammography Tech, you will use your expertise to provide guidance and mentorship in this out-patient clinic where we perform screenings, diagnostics, and procedures in one convenient location to.
 
The Lead Mammography Technologist is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements participates in Quality Control and Process Improvement activities maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements. Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure certification and QA requirements for the entire radiology department. Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times. Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in Mammography department.
 
This position is full-time (80 hours per pay period) working weekdays at the O’Toole Breast Care Center near Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego in Hillcrest.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Completion of a formal training program in an AMA approved school of Radiology Technology
  • CRT
  • RT(M)
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
 
Preferred Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • ARRT
