The Lead, Informatics Analyst, utilizes operations and/or clinical knowledge to consult with the business to identify workflow, data and application requirements. Works with integrated development resources to generate documentation and facilitate solution designs, ensuring solution meets customer needs. It will be your responsibility to facilitate identification of best practices and make recommendations for standardization. As well as, assist in establishing education strategies for staff and physicians.

As The Lead, Informatics Analyst you may build and maintain Epic clinical applications. You are responsible for providing operations management support to department leadership, including timekeeping and quality control/reporting. As well as, contributing to performance evaluations and hiring decisions.

This position will be at our newly designed, centrally located San Diego business services office, which offers an on-site café and gym. This is a full time, salaried position and offers Scripps Health’s award winning benefit package.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Two years of operations experience.
  • Good critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills

Required Certification/Registration:
  • Abilty to obtain an Epic Certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Epic Certification in either Ambulatory, Cadence and/or Beaker
  • Informatics certification.
  • Has lead small projects or technical activities.
