Come work for a collaborative, supportive, innovative and elite team as the IS Project Analyst.  The IS Project Analyst coordinates and works new business plans and projects for IS Project Management Office, including being a resource to the project managers and IS Management Team to ensure that the project implementation process is adhered to and necessary approvals are attained efficiently. It will be your responsibility to develop the project budgets defining both Capital and Operating designations for budgets. To plan, organize and coordinate all support activities prior to, during, and following activation of project Command Centers. Coordinate the set-up, smooth running and take down of the Command Center for large system-wide projects. As well as ensure the process for decision making is followed. You will determine business plan impact and approve non-IS component business plans. Actively participate on internal team(s) focused on continuous improvement of the IS project management process. Provide reports, analysis, design, monitoring, reporting and education for projects. Ensure close alignment of IS with business, maintaining a holistic view of the entire IS project portfolio, allowing executives and management to understand IS project priorities, status reporting and where dollars are being spent. Support stakeholders with RFI and RFP preparations for new vendor system selection due diligence efforts.  Ideal candidate will be highly organized and have project coordination background.


This position will be at our newly designed, centrally San Diego located business services office, which offers an on-site café and gym.  This is a full time, salaried position and offers Scripps Health’s award winning benefit package.


 


 
 
 
 
 
 

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Experience in business planning and project management concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Work, Excel, Access, Outlook, Project, Project Server, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to deal with multiple high priority issues simultaneously.
  • Training and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical aptitude.
  • Highly organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Project coordinator experience
