Join a motivated, passionate and winning team supporting Scripps Health as an Informatics Analyst.  You will be joining the Ambulatory Team which is patient focused and looking for someone who is open to learning, develop, problem solve and work together to improve how healthcare is delivered.  The Informatics Analyst utilizes operations and/or clinical knowledge to consult with the business to identify workflow, data and application requirements. Works with integrated development resources to generate documentation and facilitate solution designs, ensuring solution meets customer needs. Facilitates identification of best practices and makes recommendations for standardization. Assists in establishing education strategies for staff and physicians. May build and maintain clinical applications.
This is a Full Time, Salaried position located at our Scripps Offices in Mira Mesa.  Candidate must be willing to travel within San Diego County to visit clinical sites.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Two years of Healthcare experience.
  • Good critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Ability to obtain Epic Ambulatory Certification within six months of hire.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Has led small projects or technical activities.
  • Process analysis certification or Informatics certification.
  • Epic Ambulatory or Epic Cadence Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Business Analyst experience
  • Experience with 2018 Epic Implementation
