Job Description

Provides leadership and coordination in the following Food Service operational systems: safe food handling, volume food production, menu development and modification, meal assembly and portion control, inventory management, food service equipment operations, customer service, human resources management, financial performance, infection control/sanitation and overall department function. Participates in the planning, coordination, preparation and volume production of meals for patients, cafeteria, catering/special events. Complies with JCAHO, Title XXII and other regulations.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:1 year experience in food & nutrition services.

Required Certification/Registration:Food Safety Manager Certification

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:Associate Degree in related field OR Certified Dietary Manager. Active California drivers license.
