Through collaboration and innovation, our IS professionals lead the frontier in caring for our community. The Epic Tapestry application automates the functions of our health plan in which the Specialist will work as a team to support our end users to deliver effective and timely services to our patients. This position will be located at our newly designed Business Services office in the Mira Mesa area.
 
The Epic Tapestry Specialist is the expert on assigned application. Acts independently to lead cross functional, integrated team to create performance improvements across multiple domains. Translates business requirements into operational solutions. Proactively evaluate technical enhancements and consults with business to provide solutions to technical or process issues, guiding to best practices. Provides guidance, trains and develops the skills of less experienced IT staff.
 
This is a full time, salaried position and offers relocation assistance along with Scripps Health’s award winning benefit package.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Five years related experience.
  • Build experience in Epic applications.
  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of relevant application workflows in managed care and revenue cycle operations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. Business acumen in multiple functional areas.
     
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Epic Certification. Preferably in Epic Tapestry
     
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7 years of related Epic experience
