Through collaboration and innovation, our IS professionals lead the frontier in caring for our community.  Scripps Health is looking for an RN to fulfill our role of Epic ClinDoc Analyst, Clinical. The Epic ClinDoc Analyst, Clinical will support our teams to deliver effective and timely services to our patients for all of our in-patient units.  This resourceful and energetic team is looking for a dynamic analyst that is ready to contribute to their goals in upcoming projects supporting all five Scripps hospitals. This position will work closely with their teammates to support our end user clinicians and optimize inpatient workflows.
The Epic ClinDoc Analyst, Clinical, under general direction, participates on cross functional, integrated teams to troubleshoot complex problems across multiple domains. Designs, builds and tests system configuration with inpatient nursing areas. Translates business requirements into technical solutions. Conducts quality reviews of system builds.  The ideal candidate will have knowledge of end user workflows with an understanding of the inputs/outputs from an end user and patient perspective, ability to work well in team environments and facilitate integrated meetings, and demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principles.
This position will be located at our newly designed Business Services office in the Mira Mesa area. This is a full time, salaried position and offers relocation assistance along with Scripps Health’s award winning benefit package.

Job Requirements

 Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Education required to sit for a clinical license, plus two years practicing as a clinician.
  • Strong Build experience
  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Epic Certification in ClinDoc.
  • Active RN license.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Epic version 2018 experience.
  • Has lead small projects or technical activities.
  • Business acumen in functional area
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
