Job Description

Scripps Health is seeking a highly experienced Bones application specialist. In addition to expert knowledge of the application, the specialist has excellent working knowledge of operational workflows in Orthopedic Surgery.
Under general direction, participates on cross functional, integrated teams to troubleshoot complex problems across multiple domains. Designs, builds and tests system configuration. Translates business requirements into technical solutions. Conducts quality reviews of system builds.
Job duties to include:  Full lifecycle implementation; optimization; SmartForm and Questionnaire (HPI, Outcomes, Series) build; Project Management; Change Management; Date Courier; Working with challenging stakeholders and providers/  Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively facilitate meetings with customers and leadership teams; excellent follow-up and time management; proactive and consultative customer-service approach; strong collaborator on a highly integrated team; ability to work under pressure and manage high-stress situations

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Epic related experience. Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Expert knowledge of relevant application workflows. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Business acumen in multiple functional areas.

Required Certification/Registration: EpicCare Ambulatory Certified

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:  Epic Bones or Orthopedics Certified. Bachelor's degree. 7 years of related experience. Epic Certified in Kaleidoscope, HOD, Cadence, OpTime, Hospital or Professional Billing.
