The Epic Ambulatory Specialties Analyst will be expected to have a strong understanding of the core foundational build of Epic Care Ambulatory (application build, implementation of add-ons, and deployment of enhancement and optimizations to the Phoenix module). Innovative approaches to system EMR Data Conversion.

Scripps is looking for an Epic Ambulatory Specialties Analyst who possess experience with project coordination of technology projects, process improvement (lean or some other type of similar experience), mentoring other analysts, and understands cross-functional application integration (i.e. how clinical applications connect with scheduling, billing, ancillary applications, etc.) The Ambulatory Specialties Analyst under general direction, participates on cross functional, integrated teams to troubleshoot complex problems across multiple domains. You will be responsible to designs, build and tests system configuration. In your role, you will translate business requirements into technical solution and conduct quality reviews of system builds.

This position will be at our newly designed, centrally San Diego located business services office, which offers an on-site café and gym. This is a full time, salaried position and offers Scripps Health’s award winning benefit package along with relocation assistance to those that qualify.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking and customer service skills.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Required Certification:
  • Epic Care Ambulatory Certification
  • Ability to obtain Epic Phoenix Certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Epic Phoenix Certification.
  • Epic Certification in any application.
  • Strong understand of the core foundational build of Epic Care Ambulatory (application build, implementation of add-ons, and deployment of enhancement and optimizations to the module.)
  • Has led small projects or technical activities.
  • Business acumen in functional area.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
