Join our Endoscopy team as an Endoscopy Assistant in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care. Assists with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a RN. Assists endoscopy staff with all activities deemed necessary for efficient patient through put. Transports patients, restocks supplies and linens, and maintains cleanliness in admit and discharge areas. May assist with phones and clerical duties. Responsible for properly conducting manual cleaning of endoscopes per manufacturing guidelines and/or Flexible Endoscope Program. Maintains all unit logs related to high level disinfection. 
This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE - 80 hours per pay period), with varied shifts.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
  • BLS From American Heart Association
  • Prior endoscopy assistant experience
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting
