The position of Specialist I Document Control is primarily responsible for the management of source & supporting documents and permanent document retention. Document management includes the flow and controls over incoming mail, scanning, and integrity of the imaging and document retention system. Duties include handling, sorting, batching, scanning, research and resolution of imaging discrepancies and electronic retention of source and supporting documents. Performance measurements are based on timeliness, accuracy and efficiency in carrying out assigned tasks. Position functions under direct supervision of department management; requires detail-orientation and basic knowledge of financial documentation and archiving requirements.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • 2 Years document control Experience
  • Prior knowledge of image archival software applications and/or imaging record retention processes.
  • High School Diploma Basic knowledge of Excel & Microsoft Office.
