Conveniently located near the Genesee Avenue exit off I-5, Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines (also known as the Anderson Outpatient Pavilion) offers most of the health care services you need — all under one roof.   We proudly offer more than 50 medical and surgical specialties including  allergy,  cancer care,
dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, rheumatology and urology. 
As Director, Clinic Operations, you will provide leadership and support to medical specialty divisions at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines.  The departments you support include neurology, GI, nephology, cardiology, rheumatology and sleep and chest medicine.  You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of these outpatient patient care unit or departments, including financial and operational performance, service excellence and internal communications.   This is the ideal position for someone who can effectively lead the management team, work effectively with physician leaders and help drive change. 
Play an integral role in working with the management staff of the practice unit and departments to coordinate strategic planning of business units and the ongoing development and productivity of the physician office practices and non-physician staff. Provide leadership and direction to managers, supervisors and leads to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, quality outcomes and internal and external customer service.  
This is a Full Time, Director position located in Torrey Pines. 


Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Bachelors degree plus five years of direct management experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to effectively direct healthcare business and operational practices.
  • Ability to develop long-term plans for healthcare operations.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other applicable systems.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Masters degree.
  • Specific skills/experience in practice unit's medical specialties preferred.
  • Epic working experience preferred.
  • Outpatient leadership experience highly preferred.
