Great Opportunity to join our Rancho Bernardo Dietary Call Center Team. Our team is dedicated to serving the community with the highest quality of patient care experience.
 
Provides administrative and clerical support for Food and Nutrition Services. Responsibilities include processing diet orders, assisting patients with menu selections, and distinguishing between food and medication allergies, Maintains current diet orders and menus to ensure compliance to the physician diet order. Checks tray line for patient tray accuracy. Able to function effectively in a call center environment. Serves as a liaison between Nursing and Food and Nutrition Services departments handling patient complaints, food issues and basic questions about meals/diets.
Part-Time 8 hour DAY shift position with variable start time, 5:30am or 11:30am - Work days vary Monday –Sunday. This position is based out of our Rancho Bernardo Dietary Call Center.
 

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications: •        Food Handler Card; or Food Safety Certificate, or must pass Food Handlers test given by certified manager or designee within 30 days of hire
 
Preferred Qualifications:
•         Experience working in a customer service position
•         Food service experience in institutional food service, healthcare
•         College courses in Nutrition
