This outpatient clinic is located in sunny San Diego, CA and minutes from our beautiful beaches and central to the vibrant Hillcrest community.  You will experience the pride, and support of being a member of an outstanding team at our Hillcrest clinic where we share a culture of providing excellent care to our patients and each other. 
To provide diabetes-specific clinical, educational, and/or research services in a variety of settings. Settings may include inpatient, outpatient, community, and/or research programs.  Please note the Diabetes Educator will also provide MNT counseling and diabetes education to weight management and bariatric surgery patients in  an outpatient clinic.
Please note this is a Monday through Wednesday work schedule with day shift hours of 8AM to 5PM.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of two years providing diabetes education as an RD.
A minimum of two years experience in outpatient MNT counseling.

Current BLS
Certified Diabetes Educator certification
Licensed to practice in the State of California as an RD.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management
