As a CT Technologist at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista you will partner with our accomplished team to provide care and support to the Southern San Diego communities. This department encounters a wide range of in-patient, out-patient, and ED cases and is an ideal environment for someone who enjoys learning something new every day. The ideal candidate is adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to jump in and become a strong anchor on this team.


The CT Technologist works closely with physicians in providing expertise and delivery of patient care.  They will be responsible for providing age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with our engaged nurses and physicians. You’ll adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements, participate in Quality Control and Performance Improvement activities, and maintain your own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.


This is a full-time (80 hours per pay period) position, working varied shifts to include weekends and evenings, and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.  

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
  • CRT
  • Venipuncture
  • American Heart Association BLS
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of CT experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • Experience using Siemens scanning equipment
  • ARRT (CT)
