Our Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas Imaging team uses the latest diagnostic imaging technology, and is the only place in the world to use a portable CT (Body TOM) for lung nodule interventional procedures. We have leading-edge practice environments and continue to seek equipment that offers better ergonomics, reduced exposure rates and timesaving tools to help our imaging professionals do what they do best to offer exceptional care.
 
Join our Scripps Imaging team as a CT Technologist and work very closely with physicians in providing expertise and delivery of patient care.  You will be responsible for providing age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with our very engaged nurses and physicians. You’ll adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participate in Quality Control and Performance Improvement activities; maintain your own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
This is a Casual (Per-Diem) position located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
  • CT Scanning/Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Required Certification/Registration:
  • CRT
  • Venipuncture Certified
  • BLS
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
