Job Description

Develops strategic development growth plan to achieve system growth targets. Directs implementation of strategic initiatives to develop the organization through merger and acquisition franchising or starting and managing new ventures or channels. Identifies growth opportunities, business model innovation and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives. Evaluates financial modeling of potential merger, acquisition, divestiture, partnership or joint venture opportunities. Establishes budgets and organizational structure to manage and oversee corporate and new business development opportunities. Monitors business trends outlooks, gathers competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership. Collaborates with Executive Management and oversees team in growth plans with specific linkage on with Strategy, Legal, Human Resources and Financial issues and functions. Transitions post-deal integration activities along with ongoing operational oversight to business owners.Oversees cross functional teams in execution of new business activities.Supports organic growth and development through a variety of strategies including geographic expansion, collaborations and integrations.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Bachelors degree in related field and a MPA, MPH, MBA required. Doctor of jurisprudence. Ten years of leadership with concentration in corporate development and mergers and acquisitions experience in all aspects of acquisitions, divestitures and collaborative transactions. A track record of success in leading large, complex transactions, collaborations and joint ventures. Background in corporate development within and outside healthcare delivery. Excellent skills in strategic and quantitative analysis, problem solving, project management, along with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to build trust, negotiate transactions and work with a broad group of executives. Preferred.
