Coordination, preparation, and volume production of meals for patients, cafeteria, catering/special events. Performs job functions to support the following Food Service operational systems; safe food handling, volume food production, menu development and modification, meal assembly and portion control, inventory management and infection control/sanitation. Follows established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with JCAHO, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Full-Time 8 hour day shift position with VARIED Days (Which means requiring to be flexible with the work schedule, which includes rotation for coverage on weekends and holidays as needed)
 

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
•         2 years' experience in quantity food preparation or 1 year experience with culinary degree from accredited institution
•         Food Handlers Card or the Serve Safe Certificate or able to pass Food Handler's Test given by verified manager or designee
 
Preferred Qualifications:
•         Experience in quantity food preparation in Healthcare
•         Serve Safe Certificate
•         Formal culinary/quantity cooking education
