This is the ideal position for an experienced Contract Analyst to be responsible for pursuing contracting opportunities through the use of negotiations, Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and competitive bidding processes.  You will also be responsible for the contractual development, negotiations, and facilitation of the approval processes associated with the successful implementation of the opportunities pursued. Additional responsibilities include the maintenance of the contract management program by establishing a portfolio of master contracts ensuring competitive pricing of the goods, equipment and services Scripps Health acquires/utilizes. As Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating the supply and services contracting opportunities within your domain of Value Analysis.
 
This position will be over Cath Lab, EP and General Surgery Supply Chain Contract Analysis.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Four years or more of progressively responsible purchasing, product sourcing and contracting experience in a progressive and complex environment of a multi-hospital setting, or a large hospital.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of purchasing methods and procedures, techniques of specification and contract writing, purchasing law, purchasing ethics and healthcare regulations.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related health care field.
  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Health Care Administration or related field.
