Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for managing medical practice management and EHR software and implementation and maintenance services as part of Scripps Health’s Community Connect affiliate extension program.   Establishing and deepening relationships with Scripps Health Affiliates is key, requiring the Account Manager to have a solid understanding of the Affiliate’s business objectives.  The Account Manager will develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers.
Utilizes operations and/or clinical knowledge to consult with the business to identify workflow, data and application requirements. Works with integrated development resources to generate documentation and facilitate solution designs, ensuring solution meets customer needs. Facilitates identification of best practices and makes recommendations for standardization. Assists in establishing education strategies for staff and physicians. May build and maintain clinical applications.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Two years of operations within an ambulatory and/or clinic experience. Good critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and presentation skills

Required Certification/Registration: Epic Certifications will be required within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: EpicCare Ambulatory Certification. Epic Cadence or Prelude Certification. Has led small projects or technical activities. Informatics certification. Bachelors degree
