The Clinical Resource Specialist is responsible for providing subject matter expertise to conduct and evaluate evidence based clinical review to implement system wide value through the clinical supply chain and execute utilization improvements. Working collaboratively with physicians, clinical services teams, pharmacy, finance and supply analytics teams, the Clinical Resource Specialist will identify supply utilization improvements, supply waste and misalignments to improve cost effective clinical care.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • BSN.
  • 7 years nursing experience or 4 years RN and 3 years procedural or critical/med surgical care experience.
  • Problem solving: Solutions require critical thinking, research, analysis, etc. Analytical Skills: able to interpret data regarding quality, costs, and clinical improvement, financial analysis and evidence based research.
Required Certification/Registration:
  • RN
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Masters Degree.
  • BLS.
