The Clinical Research Analyst will be joining three other analysts. To be successful, the analyst will have experience in budget and contract negotiation, problem solving and able to work well with others.

The Clinical Research Analyst serves as the functional and direct liaison between leadership, physicians, staff and sponsors to ensure successful completion of regulatory and logistical management, as well as planning and development of clinical trials for Scripps Research Services programs. Independently manages clinical projects/programs. Responsible for contracting and budgeting in accordance with corporate and departmental policies/procedures, independently and proactively utilize contract and budget negotiation skills to establish contracts that achieve project objectives, minimize financial and legal risks and protect corporate interests while maintaining strong customer partnerships. Maintains comprehensive contracts management program by facilitating a portfolio of master contracts, clinical trial agreements, CDA's, Service Agreements and Investigator Initiated agreements ensuring advantageous and competitive terms for Scripps Health.

This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.

Job Requirements

Required:
  • BS or BA
  • Five years' experience as a Research Associate III or clinical trial coordinator
  • Knowledge of research contract management experience in research environment
  • Experience with clinical research budget development and contracting procedures, techniques, and clinical research regulations
  • Proficient with IRB application process
  • Must be proficient in the use of spreadsheets, databases, word processing and presentation software tools to interpret, communicate and present information in a clear, concise and understandable manner
  • Advanced written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Strong motivator/communicator in a compact clinical team working with aggressive timelines

Preferred:
  • Master's Degree
  • Contract and Budget Analyst experience
  • CCRC
