The clinical coordinator will perform numerous medical tests and assessments to include but not limited to: audiometry, spirometry, visual acuity, stress treadmill tests, exercise physiology assessments. You will also assist physicians with physical examination and Derm procedures as well as develop customized exercise prescriptions according to ACSM guidelines, and risk reduction plans to educate adult patients in prevention and/or rehabilitation programs under the supervision of Supervisor, Clinical Evaluations. Demonstrates ability to perform competencies as outlined in Center for Executive Health Annual Competency Assessment. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.

This is a Casual, Day Shift, position M-F at Scripps La Jolla.

Job Requirements

Required:
  • Minimum of one year experience in clinical exercise testing, exercise nutrition consulting, blood chemistry analysis & interpretation and patient risk factor education.
  • Commitment to a healthy lifestyle as a model for patients and staff
  • Excellent public relations skills
  • B.S. or B.A. in Exercise Physiology or related field
  • EKG interpretation
  • BLS (AHA) provider
