We invite you to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team as a Rad Tech at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. The ideal candidate for this position is always looking for new challenges and wanting to expand their skillset, and is confident in their abilities with scrubbing and monitoring complex Cath Lab cases. This state of the art facility is looking to find an individual who will contribute positively to the team environment as they strive to provide excellent patient care every day. This role is also a great opportunity for candidates interested in relocating to San Diego, as we will consider those that have submitted applications for their California State licensure.

As the Radiology Technologist in the Cath Lab you will be responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. You will adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participate in QC and PI activities; and maintain own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.

This position is full-time (72 hours per pay period) and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
  • CRT (Willing to consider experienced candidates who have submitted their application for California licensure)
  • Fluoroscopy
  • BLS
Preferred Experience:
  • ARRT
  • At least one year of experience working as a Rad Tech in a Cath Lab
