The Care Team Assistant will work in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care. Supports the unit with a variety of clerical, patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties. Assists with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician. Assists patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and maintains a safe, organized environment.
 
This is a Part-Time position, 8 hour DAY shifts, varied work days that includes weekend rotation. Located at Scripps Mercy San Diego.
 

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Must be able to speak, read, and follow directions in English 
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multiple patient care skills
  • 1 year experience in Inpatient Behavioral Health
