The locations supported by the Cardiac Sonographer are all located in sunny San Diego, CA and minutes from our beautiful beaches and central to the vibrant La Jolla community. The Cardiac Sonographer supports our Echo Lab which covers 2 hospitals and 7 outpatient clinic sites. You will experience the pride, and support of being a member of an outstanding sonographer/diagnostics team where we share a culture of providing excellent care to our patients and each other.
 
The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. They adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
This position is a full-time (80 hour per pay period) position, with occasional night and weekend shifts, and is primarily located at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications: Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs). Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Excellent interpersonal skills. ARDMS and BLS.
 
Preferred Qualifications: RDCS or RCS and RVT or RVS. 1-2 years’ experience. Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
