This outpatient clinic is located in sunny San Diego, CA and minutes from our beautiful beaches and central to the vibrant La Jolla community.  You will experience the pride, and support of being a member of an outstanding team at our La Jolla where we share a culture of providing excellent care to our patients and each other. 
The Biostatistician directs the development and provision of clinical statistical expertise and support for the department providing superior statistical foundations for assigned research and investigations. Provides consultation and direct support in study design, data collection, data analysis, statistical programming, interpretation and dissemination of results (both written and oral), and investigative protocol review while contributing to a cooperative environment among Scripps system-wide investigators and administrative staff.

Please note this position has a Monday through Friday work schedule and hours are listed as 8AM to 5PM.
Please note this position is funded for 5 years and  will provide biostatitistcal services for trainees and clinician scientists across te Scripps health system.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Masters level degree in biostatistics or epidemiology or related field..
 
Experience in developing and executing clinical research statistical functions supporting investigator initiated and sponsored clinical trials.
 
Experience in one or more of the following: SAS, SPSS, SUDAAN, STATA and R. Develop, EGRET, EPICURE, EQS and/or LIMS.

Preferred Qualification:
PHD
