Our Engineering team is seeking an Administrative Coordinator with strong computer skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas has served the growing communities of San Diego’s coastal North County since 1978. We are a community hospital with a friendly environment.
 
The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support for assigned area. Assists with process improvement relevant to the functions of the department. Responsible for answering incoming calls to department, triage of department visitors, data entry, mail distribution, maintenance of department supplies, facilitation of communication, meeting set-up and calendar management.
 
This position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. This is a split position working at Scripps Encinitas Hospital 3 days a week and at our Corporate Office in La Jolla 2 days a week.

Job Requirements

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Strong clerical skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizes workload, and interacts with the public
  • Knowledge of computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
  • Graduation from high school
  • Experienced computer user including word processing, spreadsheet, and database systems.
Preferred Experience:
  • 3 or more years in healthcare, preferably hospital environment
  • AA degree highly desirable
  • Experience with Vocera and mPro3 system preferred
