Training Opportunities for Internal Candidates in Nursing


Scripps clinical educators and leaders have developed specialty training programs in intensive care unit (ICU), operating room (OR), emergency department (ED) and women’s services nursing. These training programs help experienced nurses become safe, competent clinicians in a new clinical specialty. Nurses who complete this training will be fully prepared to work at any Scripps facility. Programs include:

  • Registered Nurse – OR training program
  • Registered Nurse – ICU Training Program
  • Registered Nurse – ED training program
  • Registered Nurse – Women’s Services Training Program

These programs are open to internal candidates who are employed at Scripps only.
