Join the Scripps Home Health Care team as a Speech Language Pathologist to provide individualized care to adult patients primarily located in the Northern Inland area of San Diego. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently and is confident in their ability to provide appropriate care in any situation.
 
The Speech Pathologist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment, and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC, and Care Center policies and procedures. They perform competencies as outlined in unit specific competency assessment tools, and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title.
 
This position is part-time (48 hours per pay period) working three weekday shifts. The position requires the ability to travel throughout Northern Inland San Diego, and other areas as needed.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Speech Language Pathologist License
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Valid California driver’s license and vehicle with proof of insurance
     
Preferred Experience:
  • At least one year of acute care hospital experience as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
  • Prior home healthcare experience
