This outpatient clinic is located in sunny San Diego, CA and minutes from our beautiful beaches and central to the vibrant Hillcrest community.  You will experience the pride, and support of being a member of an outstanding team at our Home Based Care Team  where we share a culture of providing excellent care to our patients and each other. 
The Wound Ostomy Nurse is responsible for the overall development, implementation, and ongoing modification of system wide program to assure evidence based skin, wound, ostomy and continence care. Serves primarily as a clinical consultant Provides direct patient care and education to selected patients. Supports staff development in areas of expertise to all members of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other internal and external customers.
Please note this position has a Monday to Friday work schedule and the hours are listed as 8AM to 5PM.  No calls or weekends.
This position will serve in a consultative role and have coverage for all of Scripps Home Based Care and visits are conducted with the assistance of an Home Based Care RN staff member. 

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2 years of clinical practice within the last 4 years.

Current RN license in California.
Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card
Graduate of an accredited school of CWON; CWON education in progress with completion within 2 years of hire.
