Scripps Green is a 173-bed hospital that has served the La Jolla and greater San Diego communities with distinction since 1977.  Scripps Green offers a wide range of clinical and surgical services, including organ transplantation, oncology care, cardiothoracic and orthopedic surgery, interventional cardiology and blood and bone marrow transplantation.
 
Join our Scripps Green Hospital Surgical Acute team as a Registered Nurses (RN), responsible for monitoring the vital signs of post-operation patients as they wake up from surgery. They also notify the doctor of any problems or changes and maintain communication with patient and their families. As a Surgical Acute RN, you will be amongst a team that is dedicated to creating an environment that is focused on restoring function and optimizing care, while maintaining the respect, autonomy and individuality of every patient. You will have the support of your team to ensure optimal patient care and success in your role.
 
This is a Full-time 12 hour NIGHT shift position.


Job Requirements

 
Required  
  • One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within hospital environment.
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
 
Preferred  
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • 2 years prior ortho/surgical or rehab experience
