Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery Room PACU  – Mercy San Diego

Join our team an RN in the Recovery Room where you will provide patient care assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN will take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team.  You will work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team and cross train with the Pre-Op department.
 
This is a 12 hour night shift position with benefits.  Call is required

Job Requirements

Required
  • One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within critical care (ICU, ED) or PACU
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
 Preferred  
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • 2 years PACU and pre-surgical evaluation experience
