Operating Room Float Pool RNs - no call, weekends or holiday requirement
Be an advocate for your patients with your strong communication and critical thinking.
Scripps OR Float Pool nurses coordinate care for patients across the Scripps La Jolla, Green, Rancho Bernardo, Carmel Valley and Torrey Pines locations. Float Pool OR RNs are rewarded for floating by selecting 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts, with no call, weekends or holiday requirement. Name your schedule!

Experience general to cutting edge surgeries involving high tech equipment, robotics, and image guidance system in our Main ORs and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Specialized Skills:
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Two (2) years of recent surgery or operating room RN experience in an acute care or ambulatory surgery setting
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Education/Specialized Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • CNOR
  • EMR experience
