Scripps Green is a 173-bed hospital that has served the La Jolla and greater San Diego communities with distinction since 1977.  Conveniently located off I-5 near the Genesee Avenue exit, our healthcare professionals care for people from a number of communities including Bird Rock, La Jolla Shores, Mount Soledad, University City and beyond. Scripps Green offers a wide range of clinical and surgical services, including organ transplant, oncology care, cardiothoracic and orthopedic surgery, interventional cardiology and blood and bone marrow transplant.
Join our close knit IR team where you will feel like part of the family.  With approximately 15 cases/day, this hardworking team supports each other and works toward the common goal of the best patient care possible. Job duties to include prep and recovery, minor procedures, and interventional procedures requiring moderate sedation.  Once on the team, you will not want to leave.
This is a full time 10 hour day shift position located at Scripps Green with some call.

Job Requirements

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Minimum two (2) years RN experience, one (1) of which is in the IR, Cath Lab, ICU or ED.
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English, excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.  
  • Call required
  • Current CA RN License. 
  • Current BLS/ACLS and NIH certifications required upon completion of department orientation.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
