The RN in this unit will provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. This includes: patient care assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN will take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. The ideal candidate will be high energy and enthusiastic with DOU/Telemetry experience. You should have experience with radial bands, groin management, Femostops, care of the cardiac and post cardiac procedure patient.  

This position is a 12 hour full time, M-F night shift position. No call, no weekends, no holidays. 7p-7:30a

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • 2 years of recent RN experience in DOU/Tele
  • Experience with radial bands, groin management, Femo stops, care of both cardiac and post cardiac patient
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS and  BLS provider certification
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
