Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Services – Break RN - Encinitas

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas has served the growing communities of San Diego’s coastal North County since 1978. We offer a full range of clinical and surgical services, including North County’s first Primary Stroke Center, a regionally recognized brain injury program, state-of-the-art imaging center, 24-hour emergency room care and award-winning OB-GYN, maternal health and infant health services.
 
This 38 bed level III Emergency Department sits 2 blocks from one of southern California's most beautiful beaches. It boasts a family atmosphere with a leadership team that has been here for several years. The unit is self-scheduling with flexibility. The right fit will be a team player who is eager to learn, has experience in a fast-paced ER, is outgoing and not afraid to work hard. 
 
This position is a part time 8 hour, night position (3 shifts per week 7p-3a) with benefits. Every other weekend

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Active California RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
  • 1 year in the last 2 years of adult emergency services experience
  • Be able to speak, read and following instructions in English.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a fast-paced ER
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • CEN – Certified Emergency Nursing
