Join our Radiology Departments as a Rad Tech working at both Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego and Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. These are fast paced, elite teams that support Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, which is both a Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center and houses one of the largest ER’s in San Diego County. In this role you will also support our team at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista, where you will provide care for San Diego’s fast-growing South Bay communities. Caring for a high volume and wide variety of patients is what our team does best. The ideal candidate is versatile and is fueled by the knowledge that every day will present a new challenge.
The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
This position is part-time (40 hours per pay period), and will rotate between both Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego and Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.

Job Requirements

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
Required Certification/Registration:  
  • CRT
  • Fluoroscopy eligible (Must obtain Fluoroscopy license within 6 months of hire date)
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • 1-2 years’ acute care hospital experience
