We invite you to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology team as a Rad Tech at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. The ideal candidate for this position is always looking for new challenges and wanting to expand their skillset, which in this position will include scrubbing and monitoring complex Cath Lab cases as well as participating in other interventional procedures. This facility is looking to find an experienced individual who will contribute positively to the team environment as they strive to provide excellent patient care every day.
 
The Rad Tech is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
This position is Casual (per diem) and will cover for call needs on weekends and occasional week days as needed, and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Certification:
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
  • CRT
  • Fluoroscopy
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • ARRT
  • At least 1 year of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience
