Join the rehabilitation team at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego as a Physical Therapist, and partner with our dynamic team at this Level 1 Trauma Center to engage with a wide variety of patients. The ideal candidate will put themselves in the patient’s shoes, and partner with this passionate team to provide world class patient care.  
 
The Physical Therapist provides Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements.
 
This position is a Casual (Per-Diem) position with occasional weekend requirements and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT in the State of California
  • Current BLS Certificate
Preferred Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately evaluate, assess and treat physical therapy patients
  • Experience as a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred
  • Physical therapy manual therapy skills beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written form
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
