Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley provides expert specialty and primary care services for the whole family.

Join our team as an Ophthalmic Tech where you will perform patient assessments by applying your technical skills to accurately assess the ophthalmic status of each patient, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate. Educates patients and documents patient interactions. Contributes to the team to ensure quality patient care.

This is a full-time position located in Carmel Valley.

Job Requirements

• BLS from the American Heart Association BLS
• Excellent patient relations and interpersonal skills

• Ophthalmic Technician Certificate preferred.
• Prefer one or more years’ experience in optometry or ophthalmology.
• Completion of a certified Ophthalmic Technical program preferred.
