As Manager, Clinic Operations for Scripps Health Express, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the patient care units or departments in an efficient and cost effective manner. You will contribute to strategic planning of business units. Additionally, you will coordinate the ongoing development and productivity of the physician office practices. Provide leadership and direction to staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, quality outcomes, and internal and external customer service.  Be responsible for entire scope of department/location, including facilities management, where appropriate.

This Clinic Operations Manager position requires being on call, working varied shifts including weekends/holidays and work as part of the staff as needed. This position also require travel to the Scripps Health Express locations/sites.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • High school diploma plus five years current applicable experience in a healthcare environment and two years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage healthcare business and operational practices.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other applicable systems.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or completion of formal leadership training.
  • Epic working experience.
