Our surgical support staff focus on the unique skills required for assisting patients before, during, and after procedures.

As the Lead Surgical Tech you will ensure operating rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use. Monitor sterile field throughout procedure, scrub for all surgical cases including multiple specialties, and act as the lead for at least one specialty. Take initiative to utilize appropriate support services to resolve issues. Organize room cleanup and ensures efficient room turnover, including decontaminating equipment as necessary. Coordinate outside vendors, positions and transport patients and train others that work in the operating room. Maintain physician preference cards. Act as a liaison with other departments. Coordinate upcoming schedules with physicians, RN's and others involved in the surgical cases.

This is a full time (80 hours pay period) 8 hour day shift position with varied start times.

Job Requirements


  • Three years recent experience in the operating room required.
    •Technical competence in multiple surgical services.
    • Ability to organize multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
    • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
    •Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
    • Able to train and coach others.
    •Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required
