Join our team as a Lead Speech Language Pathologist at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego. The Lead Speech Language Pathologist provides evaluation, assessments, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapists respective licensure registration certification, Code of Ethics, Federal State regulations, JCAHO UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. They will also work collaboratively with Rehab Therapies management to provide situational leadership.
This position is a full-time (80 hours pay period) position, requires occasional weekends and holidays, and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
  • Current California State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • At least 5 years in an acute-care setting as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Board Certification or Specialty Certification in Speech Language Pathology
