Through collaboration and innovation, our IS professionals lead the frontier in caring for our community. The Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst will support our Scripps Hospitals and Clinics. This strong and collaborative team is looking for a dynamic innovative analyst that is ready to contribute to their goals in upcoming projects. This position will work closely with their teammates to support our end users with upgrading and optimizing Epic Willow Inpatient as well as 3rd party pharmacy application integrations.  The team works with multiple 3rd party pharmacy applications to include but not limited to; Pyxis MedStation ES, DoseEdge and Boxpicker.
 
The Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst under general direction, participates on cross functional, integrated teams to troubleshoot complex problems across multiple domains. You will design, build and test system configuration. As an Epic Willow Analyst you will translate business requirements into technical solutions and conducts quality reviews of system builds. Work on Epic updates, enhancements and troubleshooting/support of Epic Willow Inpatient and Pharmacy 3rd party applications.  You will be assigned projects as well as requests/incidents through Service Now.  As well as collaborative with the Pharmacy IS Teams and other IS teams as needed.

This position will be at our newly designed, centrally San Diego located business services office, which offers an on-site café and gym.  This is a full time, salaried position and offers Scripps Health’s award winning benefit package along with relocation assistance to those that qualify. Candidate is required to participate in an on-call rotation.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Current active Epic Certification in any application
  • Ability to obtain Epic Willow Inpatient Certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Epic Willow Inpatient Certification or Proficiency
  • Strong Willow Inpatient Foundational Build Experience
  • Experience with Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
  • Experience with interfaces to pharmacy 3rd party applications
  • Has led small projects or technical activities.
  • Business acumen in functional area.
  • 2 years Epic application team experience
